My name is
Viktoria Stockmal. I am a
decorative painter and surface
designer. I’m a member of the
International Decorative
Artisans
League
(IDAL) and the Surface Design
Association (SDA). The practical
side of my nature makes me want
to create useable art. That’s
why I’m
drawn to the world of decorative
arts and why I prefer to paint
on items that can be used in the
interior design realm. I
believe in
making the environments we live
in, work in and play in
beautiful. My main mode of
painting is through the use of
stencils,
silk screen, block printing,
stamps and free hand. I really
enjoy creating hand painted
fabrics and hand painted wall
coverings
that can be used in a variety of
ways. I am willing to paint a
small amount of fabric for a
single pillow or yards of
fabric to
be used for drapes or furniture
upholstery. I enjoy working with
people with very specific ideas
of what they want as well
as those
who need a little guidance. I’ve
always been amazed that even
though there are thousands of
fabrics and wall coverings out
in the
market, sometimes you just can’t
find what you’re looking for.
That’s where I come in. I can
help you achieve your vision.
